Shareholder maps
You can access Shareholder Maps from the following T-rank buttons (via the Report screen):
- Shareholder by T-rank
- Shareholder power & coalitions
- Explore button at the top of the Report screen
Example:
Search for a company, see Building a search for more information.
From the side menu, navigate to Corporate ownership > Shareholders by T-rank.
The Shareholders by T-rank page is displayed.
Click on the 
button to open the T-rank map.
KEY:
| Red box | Represents the requested entity. There is always exactly one red box in a map, and it could represent any kind of entity (natural or legal person |
| Blue box | Legal persons (companies / organizations) |
| Yellow box | Represents natural person(s) |
| Arrows | Direct ownership, provided by Moody’s |
| Large numbers inside the boxes | Integrated ownership (please see separate user guide |
| Red numbers inside the boxes | Shareholder power (please see separate user guide). |
Options
Each map provides configurable options to change the view, and data included in the map.
Threshold
Entities that have a calculated total percent equal to, or above, the specified threshold will be included. There are exceptions to this rule, click on the 
button for more information.
Max #
Specify the maximum number of owners or owned companies to be included in the map.
Layout
Select the best layout for the information on the map. For example, the star layout might be the best choice for maps including circular ownership.
Type
Select the type of map from the drop-down list.
Save
A shareholder map can be saved as an image in PNG format, a PDF or as GraphML. GraphML is an XML format for graphs that can be read by various software packages.
For PDF, the whole map will always be included, and the system will choose portrait or landscape based on the width/height ratio. In general, PNG will give better results than PDF.
The file will automatically save to your local Downloads folder.

- Click on Export to open the Export dialog.
- What: Select whether to show Owners or Ownership.
- Threshold: Select the maximum number of owners or owned companies to be included.
- Maximum records: Specify the maximum number of records to include in the export.
Click on the Export button to begin the export. The data will open in your spreadsheet editor.

Opens an email window allowing you to submit feedback.
Box
The boxes and connectors in a T-rank map show details of owners or companies.
