Functionality of the BvD Matching Services application varies according to the rights of the logged-in user. The System Administrator can use the BvD Administration Site (https://admin.bvdep.com) to create two categories of user:

• Administrator

• Standard user

  • There should be at least one Administrator user in order to grant Standard users access to the project.

  • The Administrator must log in before any Standard users in order to grant them access to the project.

Run BvD Matching Software for Windows (Blu-ray disc) first.

The Web version of the application depends upon the Windows (Blu-ray disc) version of the product having been used already to create and configure one or more projects. The Web interface version of the application offers a superior user interface for manual match processing.

From this page you can log in to the BvD Matching Services application by entering the Username and Password you were supplied by Bureau van Dijk into the text boxes provided, and then clicking the OK button to continue:

• If you log in as an Administrator, the BvD Matching Services application Select project page is displayed.

• If you log in as a Standard user, the Validate matching result page is displayed for the project (if only one project is configured), or the Select project page is displayed (if more than one project is configured).
